Design:
Sori Yanagi, 1954 Concept: Taji Butterfly stool is a graceful and elegant stool, designed back in 1954 by the Japanese designer Sori Yanagi (1915-2011). The shape of the stool comes to life in the beautifully curved plywood that mimics the shape of a butterfly. The delicate stool combines Asian aesthetics with the plywood molding technique developed by Charles and Ray Eames. The Butterfly stool is a simple and soulful addition to any interior.
